At the invitation from the chief executive of the Kenya Association of Manufacturers Mr Phyllis Wakiaga, CG officiated at the launch of the 2nd edition of Kenya Manufacturing Summit & Expo(Changamka Shopping  Festival) on 2nd June 2022 at Oshwal centre. The expo is aimed at creating awareness of diverse, high-quality  and unique products that local industries produce.Mombsa is predominantly known for the logistical and tourism role and the expo is aimed at creating a platform where other economic sector areas are tapped into.The CG encouraged the  Manufacturers in Kenya to consider bringing the industries to Uganda as its interlinked to other bigger EAC market of DRC,South Sudan Rwanda n Burundi.Among the Manufacturers present  were Chandaria Group,Kenya Suitcase Manufacturers Ltd, Mills Glass Mombasa and the Export Processing Zones Authority .
